Reflections on Napoleão Mendes de Almeida's Preface: Latin, Reasoning, and the Crisis in Education
A few days ago, I started exploring Latin a bit, and for that, I’m using Latin Grammar by Napoleão Mendes de Almeida. Upon reading the preface of the work, I was captivated by the author’s opinions and justifications for studying Latin, and I decided to compare them to the study of other subjects and education in general, as we share similar views.
